Lahore Smart City Development Work Update
The development planning of Lahore Smart City begun with a soil test of the project site, which was conducted after midyear in 2020.
The machinery had been installed on the site within no time after the NOC approval. This hints at the faster and uninterrupted development of the project.
Current Area of Development – December 2023
The development work of the society has been started with access roads at the entrance of the project. The pink-colored roads in the highlighted area of the map show the roads that are being constructed right now.
Construction of Smart Villas
The development work for Smart Villas in sector A of Lahore Smart City has recently started. Excavation and earth work is in progress.
The brickwork has commenced for 1 Kanal & 10 Marla Georgian style Villas in sector A. The brick walls have been erected and mental beams are being installed.

Construction of Roads & Lanes
The earth has been leveled and subgrade layers are also prepared to further the construction of Main Boulevard B-1 and main roads C-1, F-1, F-2, F-3, F’-1, G-1, G-2, and G-3.
The Kerb stones have been fixed at B-1 Road and street light poles are also being installed along B-1 & C-1 roads. Road Sleeves for type G & M roads are also being constructed along and across C-1 Road. The road drains and manholes are currently under construction.
The construction of roads and lanes in Sector A and B has also been started and is well underway. Plantation and edge stone fixing along the roads is also in progress.
Moreover, the construction of Railway Line Underpass is underway. Railway track diversion is also in progress. This railway track underpass will give direct access from GT Road N5 to Lahore Smart City.
Construction of Streets & Driveways
The construction of streets, footpaths, and driveways has begun in Sector A and B.
Earth for streets has been leveled, the excavation and construction for street drains are underway. Streets 1,2, 3, and 4 are fully developed in sector A. Footpaths and driveways are also being developed at a rapid pace in both sectors. Plantation in streets is also in progress.
Construction of Boundary Wall & Sewage
The construction of boundary wall of sector B is underway.
Sewage pipelines are being constructed in sectors A & B.
Construction of Site Offices
A grand site office of Lahore Smart City is being constructed to entertain the site visitors and investors. The concrete foundation is also being laid for a sales & marketing office.
Silicon Valley
Development work for Silicon Valley is well underway.
Tree Plantation & Horticulture
In addition to the access roads, tree plantation has also been started at the on-site nursery so that the trees and plants are ready in time for horticulture work.
Horticulture, plantation, and green belts are an integral part of life in any housing project. Lively green plants on the road sides provide an inviting and welcoming look to the new society and represent the quality of work in any residential project.
Public Amenities
The society’s infrastructure includes all the basic amenities that are a necessity for a decent community. And the rapid development work is being executed to provide these amenities at earliest to the future residents.
Construction of Water Tank & Septic Tank
The construction of the overhead water reservoir in sector A has been completed. The construction of an overhead water tank in sector B is underway.
Electricity
The site office and other areas of the development site will have electricity as 200 KVA WAPDA Transformer has been installed.
Moreover, a 0.5 Mega Watt Solar Power System has also been inaugurated.
Parks
The construction of community park has commenced in sector A. The edge stone fixing is currently being carried out and the plantation will start soon.
Mosques
The construction of mosques in sector A & B is well underway. The mosque has been inaugurated in Overseas Prime Sector A.
Educational Institutes
The groundbreaking ceremony was held for Girls & Boys College in Sector B of Lahore Smart City. The development work is well undeway.
Medical Facilities
The groundbreaking has been executed for Smart Clinic on 8th December 2023.
Commercial Areas
Ravi Commercial is being established rapidly.
Cricket Ground
A National Level Cricket Ground is to be built in the society. The Ground Breaking Ceremony for cricket ground was held on November 18, 2022, with the calibration of PCB approved consultant.
Overseas Block
Overseas block, as the name suggests, is reserved for Pakistanis living abroad. The individuals would have to provide proof of their residence in the foreign country to be eligible to acquire a plot in the overseas block. However, local residents can also buy the files in the overseas block in resale.
The plot sizes offered in this block include 5, 10, and 20 Marla residential plots. The 7 marla and 12 marla plots were also offered afterward and the booking for these newly launched plots is open.
