All the STEM institutes at Capital Smart City will be affiliated with FBISE.

What is STEM Education System?
STEM Education System is a term that’s an abbreviation of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths. It refers to a type of education that uses a comprehensive approach to teaching students, promoting learning through intellectual reasoning and practicality.
STEM Education is a modern education system that was introduced in 2001 by scientific administrators at the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF).
STEM Education in Pakistan
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan also launched the STEM education project for 400 higher secondary schools across the country, aimed at promoting science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. Capital Smart City also aims to make available the latest education system in the country.
MOU signed for STEM Schools Affiliation with Federal Board
In an official meeting held on 19th November 2022, The Chairman Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education and the Executive Director City Operations and Management, FDHL, signed an MoU of Affiliation with Smart STEM Education System, the first and largest STEM Education brand in Pakistan.
Capital Smart City plans to build 143 schools and colleges of STEM Education system. All these schools and colleges will be affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
One smart school has already been fully constructed in Overseas Block and the Alight school in the Admin block is also complete.

Besides STEM schools, other notable educational institutes would also be developed in the Education District. Land has been allotted to the NUML University Campus to start construction.
